Shady Job Links Hub

Steam store, news, and @GAZE_IN_GAMES, plus the wiki pages a crew actually needs before September 10.

Official Links Hub

This Links Hub is the unofficial door out of the wiki and back into official Shady Job channels. GAZE IN GAMES owns the game, the store page, and the studio accounts. shadyjob.wiki does not. If a URL on this page disagrees with Steam, trust Steam. If a stranger in chat pastes a “private Discord” or a key shop, close it. The only destinations we list as official are the ones the store and the studio already publish in public.

Shady Job still sits behind a September 10, 2026 Steam PC unlock. Playtests ended August 31, 2026. Today is September 3, which means this list is a wishlist-and-brief kit, not a download mirror. Pair it with the Updates Hub and the launch checklist so you are not collecting bookmarks instead of assigning who carries the bag.

Official Steam destinations

Store page. Shady Job on Steam is app 4190710. Wishlist it. That is how Steam notifies you when the September 10 unlock is purchasable. The store is also the source for features (online co-op, Achievements, Family Sharing), languages, and the system-requirements block we transcribe on system requirements. Price is not listed. Steam Deck compatibility is Unknown. Do not let a third-party site invent either number.

News hub. Steam news for Shady Job is where dated studio posts live. The August 31 article “Release on September 10th + Playtests ended!” and the August 14 Playtest 1.3 / Level 2 post are the two headlines this wiki treats as canonical. After unlock, the Shady Job patch notes page will log new articles from this hub instead of inventing build IDs.

Community hub. Steam community for Shady Job holds discussions, screenshots, and player groups. It is useful. It is not a patch note. If a discussion claims a console SKU or a day-one hotfix, check the news hub before you rewrite your crew plan.

Official studio social

Twitter / X. Follow @GAZE_IN_GAMES. The studio posted Playtest 1.0 going live, the random-invite rules, the three-friend cap, the 30-day friends-list requirement, and the survey reminder there. Tweets are fast and incomplete. Confirm dates against Steam news before you treat a screenshot as a patch.

Discord. During Playtest 1.0 the developers told people looking for a party to check comments or “our Discord server.” This wiki does not publish a Discord invite URL. Invites rotate, get cloned, and turn into phishing. If you want that server, start from the official Steam page’s own social row, not from a code in a random video description.

The Steam page also lists other studio profiles (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, a studio site). We are not mirroring that whole row here. Steam remains the index. If a profile is not linked from the store, treat it as unofficial until it is.

This wiki’s launch guides

Use these pages after you wishlist, not instead of the store:

  • Getting Started — first-session briefing for a 1–4 player crew.
  • Controls — carrying, building, and plunger inputs.
  • Co-op guide — online sessions, party size, no listed split-screen.
  • Body bag — why rough handling makes the cargo worse.
  • Building — unstable paths, cranes, collapse risk.
  • Plunger Gun — climb, yank, rescue.
  • Walkthrough — route notes, including the fact testers saw Level 2.
  • Review — what we can and cannot say before reviews exist.

Planning tools sit next to the guides. The roles tier list and strategies pages help you name jobs. The squad planner turns that into a four-stack. The Guides Hub, Tier List Hub, and Tools Hub are the category maps if you would rather browse than follow this list.

Read those three before you argue in a group chat about whether the game is “out.” It is not in libraries yet. The store clock is the authority.

Disclaimer

This site is a fan-made, unofficial wiki. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by GAZE IN GAMES or Valve. Shady Job, GAZE IN GAMES, Steam, and related marks belong to their owners. Store copy, screenshots, and news headlines quoted here remain their property. We transcribe facts so crews can prepare; we do not sell keys, boosts, or access.

If an official URL changes, this hub will follow the store. If someone asks you to sideload a “playtest leftover” build, that is not a link we will ever add. Wishlist Steam, brief the crew, and keep this page as a short official-plus-wiki index rather than a dumping ground for every social icon on the internet.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is this Shady Job wiki official?

No. It is a fan project. Canonical information lives on the [Steam store](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4190710/Shady_job/) and [@GAZE_IN_GAMES](https://x.com/GAZE_IN_GAMES). Treat this site as a briefing, not as a publisher page.

Where is the official Shady Job Steam page?

App 4190710: [store.steampowered.com/app/4190710/Shady_job/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4190710/Shady_job/). Wishlist it for the September 10, 2026 unlock. News and community hubs are linked in the body above.

Where is the Discord invite?

This wiki does not publish one. The studio pointed playtesters to "our Discord server" without us mirroring an invite code. Start from the Steam page if you want official socials.

What should I open after I wishlist?
Where do patch notes come from?

Steam news, summarized on the patch notes page after September 10. The only named pre-launch update is Playtest 1.3 / Level 2. Do not trust random "hotfix" screenshots.
