Shady Job Items and Props

This page is a screenshot catalog for Shady Job, not a loot table. GAZE IN GAMES has not published item stats, stack sizes, or a crafting tree. Official HUD shots show two hotbar slots labeled 1 and 2, a green bar bottom-left, a SANDWICH, and an INDUSTRIAL FAN. Other official and press art shows crews hauling a toilet and barrels, and Automaton reported first aid kits and fire extinguishers in store screenshots. That is the list this wiki will stand behind. Everything else is a live prompt you have not seen yet, or fiction.

The Steam launch is September 10, 2026. Playtests ended August 31, 2026. HUD chrome without fake binds lives on controls. The gun that shares the screen with those slots has its own page: Plunger Gun. Punchy Bag is cargo, not a pickup — handling is on body bag. Hazards those props sit next to are on site hazards.

What this catalog will not do

  • No heal numbers, fan Newtons, sandwich calories, or extinguisher radius.
  • No “best loadout” ranking. There is no official item tier.
  • No key table for slot 1 and slot 2. Those digits are slot indexes in the art, not confirmed keyboard binds. Confirm binds in settings when the title unlocks.
  • No claim that every physics object on the site is in this list. You will find more clutter. Add it when a prompt or a studio shot names it.

If a streamer flashes a third slot, treat it as their overlay until official art or the live HUD agrees. After September 10, 2026, named item changes belong in patch notes, not in a chat guess.

Hotbar slots 1 and 2

Official shots put two slots in the same neighborhood as the green bar. Labels read 1 and 2.

Someone on the crew should own those slots instead of everyone fighting over Punchy Bag. In a four-stack, that is often the floater. In a duo, the non-carrier. Seat language is on roles and the squad planner. Day-one loop context is in Getting Started.

The green bar is a status readout. Official materials do not name it as health, stamina, hunger, or bag-calm. Watch it when the bag starts a fight or when someone eats a fall. Do not map it onto the sandwich or the first aid kit just because both exist in art.

SANDWICH

HUD art labels a SANDWICH in a hotbar slot (slot 1 in the shot this wiki is using). That is the whole confirmed sentence.

  • It is held equipment in the same chrome as the plunger prompts, so it is not scenery.
  • It is not a documented heal, buff, or Punchy Bag treat. Do not plan a “feed the bag” trick. Rough handling still makes the cargo more aggressive; food in slot 1 does not overwrite that store rule.
  • If the live game shows a prompt on the sandwich, believe the prompt. Until then, someone can hold it so it is not bouncing off a ledge while you build.

INDUSTRIAL FAN

Slot 2 in that same HUD art holds an INDUSTRIAL FAN. The Plunger Gun page already refuses a DPS rotation for it. This catalog repeats the refusal and adds crew procedure.

  • The fan is a held tool in screenshot loadout, not a building block. Do not write a fan-as-bridge guide.
  • Strategy tiers rank a live fan as a veto, the same way ice is a veto: the bag waits. A plank with a blower is a launch rail until you have seen the real prompt.
  • One person owns slot 2. Two people spinning the same fan on a narrow span is how you invent a wipe and then blame “physics.”
  • Do not aim a fan at Punchy Bag as a personality test. That is rough handling with extra wind.

Toilet and barrels as ramps

Official shots show crews carrying a toilet and barrels. They are physics props, not hotbar rows in the HUD art we can read.

Use them the way the building page already describes:

  • Ramps across a short gap when a full block span is overkill or not ready.
  • Chocks on wheels and moving bits before the carrier boards a platform.
  • Extra mass on a platform so the thing you are riding is less of a kite.

Rules that do not need a stat table:

  • A prop ramp is still a physics object. If Punchy Bag hits it, the ramp can leave.
  • Do not trap the cargo under a pile of toilets. That is rough handling wearing a disguise.
  • Do not assume a barrel “grounds” an electric floor or “breaks” ice. Those are hazard problems, not prop puzzles.
  • The floater exists partly to haul props so the builder’s hands stay on blocks and cranes. Party split is on co-op.

Floor numbers painted on walls (shots show 13) are how you report where a toilet just rolled, not a loot room index.

First aid kits and fire extinguishers

Automaton reported first aid kits and fire extinguishers in official screenshots. They sit in the same evidence pile as electric floors from that coverage: seen in store art, not given a wiki formula.

  • Not confirmed as slot 1 or slot 2 in the HUD shots that show sandwich and fan.
  • Not confirmed heals, fire clears, or ice thaws.
  • Not a reason to re-label the green bar as health or as a fire meter.

If you pick one up, call it so the crew knows your hands are full. If you walk past it, that is also legal. The hazards page is explicit: do not spray an electric floor or ice patch because a kit exists in a screenshot. Wait for a prompt.

Cargo, gun, and clutter

Three things on the site are easy to mix up in voice chat. Keep the names honest.

Punchy Bag is the objective. It struggles, escapes, breaks structures, and pushes people off ledges. It is not an item you store in slot 2. See body bag.

Plunger Gun is the climb, yank, and rescue tool. Prompts: SHOOT, PULL / RELEASE, DROP. It is not catalogued here as a pickup with stats. See Plunger Gun.

Clutter is everything else in this article: sandwich, fan, toilet, barrels, first aid, extinguisher, plus whatever the live floors add. The walkthrough should not pause for a collectathon. Path-first, then bag, then bury. If a prop helps a two-meter gap, use it. If it is a souvenir, drop it.

Friends who only want to know who holds slot 2 should read how to play with friends and then come back to this list. This page will not grow a DPS column to make the catalog look like a looter.

Treat every name above as a label on a screenshot, not as a promise of a sandbox toy. When the live HUD prints a new prompt, that prompt joins the catalog. Until then, two slots, a sandwich, a fan, a toilet, barrels, a kit, and an extinguisher are plenty to argue about — and none of them replace a finished span under Punchy Bag.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What do Shady Job hotbar slots 1 and 2 hold?

Official HUD art shows a SANDWICH and an INDUSTRIAL FAN. Those digits are slot indexes, not confirmed keys. Chrome without binds is on controls.

Does the sandwich heal, and does the fan deal damage?

Unknown. This wiki will not invent numbers. If a live prompt names an effect, believe that prompt. Tool use around the fan is on the Plunger Gun page.

Are toilets and barrels useful?

Official shots show crews carrying them as physics props. Use them as ramps and chocks. They are not electrical gear. Building procedure is on building.

What about first aid kits and fire extinguishers?

Automaton reported both in official screenshots. No heal or douse values here. Hazard context is on site hazards.

Is Punchy Bag an item in the hotbar?

No. It is the living cargo. Handling rules are on the body bag page. Do not store it under toilets.

Who should carry slot items in co-op?

The floater in a four-stack, the non-carrier in a duo. Lock it on the squad planner so two people are not spinning the same fan.
